| I have been using Open Office for a while now. It works just like the MS tools and it's free. | ||||

| Open office is really slow compared to Word and Excel. I just use a pirated copy of MS Office. | ||||

I think this will cause Microsoft Office to drastically drop in price.

| I was using the open office spreadsheet program. I had to make a fairly complicated spreadsheet to help my brother figure out the odds of something by compiling a bunch of data. Whenever I changed one number it would lock up for a good 3 minutes while it redid all the math. By comparison, I had an Excel sheet on my slower computer that was literally thousands of lines long and whenever I changed a number it had to recalculate atleast 20 formulas per line... it was lightning quick on Excel. (Don't ask why I had such complicated formulas... you might realize I am an uber-nerd. ) It works fine if it is just a spreadsheet with no calculations, however. | ||||

| At 10 times the price, of Google's projected price (infinitely more expensive than Open Office), I think a little bit of speed difference is acceptable. | ||||

| ReactOS is working with OpenOffice. As soon as they get it working with DirectX, I'm gonna get it. | ||||
