DEMANDS for a ban on “un-Islamic” activities in schools will be set out by the Muslim Council of Britain today.

Targets include playground games, swimming lessons, school plays, parents’ evenings and even vaccinations.

And the calls for all children to be taught in Taliban-style conditions will be launched with the help of a senior Government education adviser.

While I am against poor foreign policy, this is just a bad, bad idea

The problem is, both are bad ideas.

Especially considering that they (Islamics and other citizens) woulod go apeshit if they taught Christianity that way.

Learn to assimilate, put your kid in a private school, or move!

I don't have a problem if they want to remove their kids from lessons or activities dealing with other faiths, but this is imposing a foreign religious culture on the behavior of others. It is way out of line and Western Civilization needs to get beyond the oversensitivity crisis and send a clear message that these growing attitudes are not acceptable.

the way it's read its the UK public school system but again I am wondering about how its being reported, I dunno anything about this source either
