Hezbollah's ultimate goal, as well as the goal of Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc., is the establishment of an Islamic Caliphate from Spain to Indonesia. Women would wear burqas, rape victims would be stoned to death, and homosexuals would be beheaded. Thieves would get off light with a mere severed hand.

I don't think Hezbollah is going anywhere. This is purely because of how and why it was formed.

There won't be any reform so long as Israel continues to give opponents of peace reasons to fight back and garner support.

As harsh as it sounds, there are only 3 solutions I can think of.

1. Israel ceases to exist (not reasonable)
2. All opposing nations are killed to a man
3. Israel accept there will, at least for the foreseable future, be some attacks. But treat those elements as criminal and not pin the politcal counterparts with it or react in a heavy-handed way.

It named Wafa Hoteit as a chief of Al Noor Radio (also recently bombed), and promoted 37-year-old Rima Fakhry to its highest ruling body, the Hezbollah Political Council. Part of Fakhry's duties include interpreting Islamic feminism in Sharia law for the Committee for Political Analysis.[59]

Hezbollah members and supporters have been known to take the law into their own hands by rounding up people suspected of homosexuality and handing them over to the police.

I'm not saying Hezbollah necessarily agrees with Al-Qaeda.

They share common tactics to achieve common goals.

Like the KKK dosen't necessarily agree with Neo-Nazis.
