"vigors of combat" what? The MILITARY should write what it feels a FEMALE must be able to do to qualifiy for a certain position, they should present all reasonable vigors of combat tests

If they don't pass the test, they don't get the position

Much like male pilot wannabes don't pass an eye exam and move on to a different career in the military

So we should have a team of nurses in a tank just in case we have to move someone two feet and on a lateral pane and not up and out a hatch?

I'm starting to agree with some of your arguments. Give them the tests before they go in for training and if they pass they can move on. I wouldn't be so much against that. But saying who cares if they're not as fit as the males, you don't need to be fit to work in a tank, etc... is just flat wrong and absurd.

That's how it should always be. But that would eliminate many of the females in service now.

But have some girl like LL, hey if she met KG before he had combat training...id put money on the girl in that fight

There are skinnier soldiers and there are sloppier soldiers, I would know a HS teacher who was in the army reserves was a friend of a friend, he was a fat slob before and a fat slob when he got back from iraq (he told everyone he was in combat), there are tons of women who could have run circles around him

Comparing a soldier to a soldier is not ridiculous. You implied it didn't matter that women weren't as physically capable as men in relation to being on a tank crew.

The argument has been made that there are Olympians out there or rare women who are physically capable. The problem is to get into training as ballz mentioned above you don't need to perform the final tests until the training is complete. Allowing a lot of women to try out would harm the training process. Giving them exams equal to men is considered sexist by the liberals. There's no simple solution other than doing what we've been doing.

I said you didn't need to have a high bench ability to be fit to command a tank

I really doubt older tank commanders have amazing benching skills that are not just REQUIRED, but no woman could match

Even money says there is one generally decently fit tank commander, a good one, who is less than fit than a female

So why not let the female have a spin?

Even if you are willing to spend all that money to find the couple women that can compete with the male standard, then you still run into the fact that a woman in a tank for weeks on end is going to cause some massive problems.
