I kinda figured that they were poking fun at dictators, but maybe that's just me.

And I'm not sure I get the 'poking fun at religion part'...is that now allowed? Even Christians make jokes about their religion. It's part of comedy...making jokes about stuff?

I seriously want to see someone who enjoyed watching that show. It was literally painful to watch how horrendous it was. The laughtrack was the final nail in the coffin.

I was entertained, although I can't say that I enjoyed it. Then again, I can't say that I enjoy much more than Law & Order and Soup.

I don't know much about TV and laughtracks, but why all the criticism for laughtracks? Don't most shows use them? And if the Daily Show doesn't (which I'm assuming is being used to compare this to) didn't they start off using one? I can't imagine anyone would attend a show they don't know anything about

Actually I did notice a live audience. I liked the show. I am not saying it is great or a hit. Time will tell? But liberals are damn funny! I also think John Stewart is funny. Perhaps some people just can't take what they dish out?

If I want comedy from a conservative douche-bag, I'll listen to Dennis Miller.

Comedy crosses political lines. This show simply isn't funny.
