| I think they failed because the audience is just too different from right wing talk radio, and they couldn't find the advertiser niche. A lot of the right wing radio audience commutes, and they listen to it on their drive. Not that left wingers don't commute, they do, but they're listening to shock radio djs, pop music, satellite radio music, cd's. They're just not the types that have a tendency to listen to propaganda for entertainment, as the right wingers are. Of course they will fail again. Franken was their flagship, and he wasn't that good. Rhodes wasn't so bad. Kennedy's voice was made for silent movies, and the less said about Janene Garofolo the better. I didn't even bother to look up her name to spell it right, and if I did spell it right, it was totally unintentional. Nevertheless, I did listen to AA, and enjoyed it, but mainly because I was working at a right wing radio station at the time and was forced to listen to hour upon hour of right wing radio. Air America was a relief to my poor little ears after three hours of Hannity... | ||||
