I can definately see Israel's side. I honestly fully support them annihilating Hezbollah. However, Lebanon is not supporting, nor harboring the terrorists. From what I understand they are victims too of Hezbollah. Their gov't is not strong enough to rid Hezbollah from it's borders. 35% of the population is Christian and despise Hezbollah. The muslims outside the southern most region also want Hezbollah gone. The problem is Lebanon is still barely recovering from it's own history and was just getting back on it's feet. It is one of the most progressive states as far as democracy and peace in the middle east, even though it is still a fledgingly gov't with limited power.

The people in Israeli jails aren't poor innocent Arabs incarcerated by devil Israel. They're terrorists. Samir Kuntar killed two Israeli policeman, a 4 year old girl, and her father. Samir Kuntar shot and killed the father at close range in front of his daughter, and killed the four-year-old girl by hitting her with the butt of his rifle against a rock, crushing her skull.

He received a FAR fairer trial than any Jew would have received in an Arab country.

Just out of curiousity, how do you know whether or not prisoners in Israeli jails are generally given fair trials? I don't know anything about the Israeli justice system, so for all I know, they grab anyone who looks funny and throw him in jail after a sham trial. I've actually seen some interesting documentaries which suggest Israeli police and soldiers treat Arabs like shit, beating them and arresting them often without cause.

I doubt prisoners in Arab countries get fair trials at all, but it doesn't necessarily follow that Israel is doing justice either.

They were given trials. They were found guilty. That's why they're in jail. Isreal doesn't just randomly stone people like a certain other race in that region.
