Yes, I guess it would be when the focus in on attacking the Bush Administration and not solving a political abuse problem. So much for my foolish effort to meet half way.

Two of the Clinton fired were already involved in cases related to the Clinton's legal troubles and many more of those positions would follow. Putting all of "your kind" of people in place first does not make it any less political.

Bush fired Democrat appointees, replaced them (like the guy in NM) with Republicans, had his WH tell the Republicans to be "apolitical" they did an outstanding job, but were told mid-appointment to suddenly become political, to stop investigating Republicans or start investigating Democrats, they didn't have the evidence for the latter and it would a violation of their office to stop an investigation of someone they believe they can convict

They did an outstanding job, and then were fired because of "poor performance"

It was a horrible thing to do, without precedent, and sets a new precedent that if Hillary fires all 93+ prosecutors, and appoints all democrats, she can start firing them left in right if they don't drop all cases against Democrats and all go after Republicans only
