Campaign Finance Reform

So I have a short essay question to write about campaign finance reform. Problem is, I'm clueless about it. This is not something I have ever paid attention to

There is SO much stuff on Google about it, and I am going through it but I thought I'd ask if anyone knew of some specific sites I could visit?

It's just a short opinion essay on it, so I just really need to learn something on it. I'm always leery of Wiki (it is so frowned upon by the instructors at my school), but I'll read through it. Thanks!

No need to take anything directly from wiki. Just follow the source links of things that interest you.

Wiki is great for just getting a general overview on something to point you in the right direction.

I think that would have been a little over the top for the half page double spaced blurb I needed to write (which I finished btw). It would have been interesting to see the reaction though.
