When summer comes around and I have to turn on my AC I think I'll just buy myself a share of their fast growing stock rather than give it to Al Gore to do the same. The entire concept he's running around telling other people do to (offset their carbon footprint) is a sham. It's a way to get people to hand their money over to him so he can essentially make money on it.
The more scaremongering and fear he brings in the more he stands to profit.

Seriously, Gore is a celebrity right now, nothing more. how he spends his money isn't a political issue. How much do other affluent people donate to green causes?

Not to mention, what exactly can be changed in a household? People are going to live as they see fit. If they want to recycle, they will. If they want to cut back on heat, gas, or whatever, they will. To think that they will just 'buy carbon offests' and live as they were before is ridiculous. It will make no difference whatsoever. It's a scam.

| the two companies he has as funnel companies are a charity, and his carbon off-set company...details below... Carbon offset company is merely an investment portfolio company for him...with assets of $208 Million Here is link His "charity" is merely a funnel for his money from inconvenient truth that he is "donating all proceeds from IC to Charity" of which is a charity he formed, and he is Chairman of... here is link the clever part here...is that it is "a project of the Rockefeller Foundation" which means they do not have to do those nasty little discolsure things like other charities...and can mask the monies paid to the management/board...I am researching if they are a 501C3 independently or via the Rockefeller status...which would be another cute scam in itself... | ||||
