Gores Carbon Offset Sham Exposed

was cruising around...came across an SEC (securities and exchange filing) it was for the company Gore buys his carbon offsets from...yes, the company he founded...and that he is Chairman of...

here is a look at some of the carbon offset investments he has made...

stack rank by valuation of investment portfolio...

hmmm, this is what he is investing in, for his carbon offsets...hmmm....hmmmm

I don't believe in offsets anyway, it really doesn't make much sense to me.

I can't remember the movie but there was a militia / survival guy who had a bunch of people convinced they had to give up everything and follow him because he had PROOF the country was going under, or there was going to be a civil war, or some shit like that. Basically he was saying money would be worthless.

Turned out he had a bunch of 20 year bonds he'd bought and someone figured out he was lying just to get their money so he could buy more bonds...and his buying 20 year bonds proved he didn't believe anything he was saying (or he wouldn't have invested in the country's currency for 20 years).

I'm completely fucking up the details of that movie but that was the gist.

That's Gore. One side of his mouth is screaming GLOBAL WARMING! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!! and the other side is telling his broker "after I create panic buy a few power companies on the cheap!"

What a fucking douchebag.

Sad really...people want to believe him...

notice his number 2 investment...GE...they make the equipment for coal energy plants...hmmm isnt coal energy bad? wouldnt that be a bad thing to invest in those who are not inline with your ethic?

or wait...is he just looking at this...I always get this stuff mixed up...

There's clean coal, which they are really pushing forward here in WV. Coal plants aren't bad, except they really fuck up the mountains and scenery here by mining it.

They are currently the biggest company doing this yes......... This whole topic looks to be like more smear campaign. I guess the anti GW folks think if you can smear Gore enough it means GW isn't happening since he is the unofficial "spokesperson"???
