Especially since she had it already and they thought it was gone. They have young kids as well. I hate to even think about it.

Wow, combination of good and bad news. Bad news is the cancer is back and has gone from breast cancer (curable) to bone cancer (non-curable but treatable). The good news is seems she broke a rib and that is how they found the cancer still in it's very early stages. I feel bad for the family though. So many unknowns with any type of cancer but they seem to be pretty upbeat.

John Edwards is suspending his campaign for President, and may drop out completely, because his wife has suffered a recurrence of the cancer that sickened her in 2004, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, an Edwards friend told The Politico.

Would he still get elected if his wife died? Would he get elected because of that? What if he wanted to remarry and he was President?

Ahhh! The Soap Opera would be RICH.

But it is TRAGIC he is going to loose his wife. I hope that they have a good time with eachother until it happens.

A real tragedy deserves all good sympathy. My dislike for the man aside, this is a personal misfortune and I would respect any decision he would make.
