The inevitible death of Hillary

PRINCETON, NJ -- A majority of Americans have an unfavorable image of New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination. Clinton's current 45% favorable rating with the American public is her third consecutive reading below 50% in the past two months, and is one of the lowest Gallup has measured for her since 1993. The recent decline in her image appears to be broad-based, as it is evident among most key subgroups. Even after her image first showed signs of decline in early March, Clinton managed to maintain a healthy lead in Gallup's trial heat of Democratic preferences for the party's 2008 presidential nomination. However, the new poll shows her lead has shrunk to just five percentage points over Barack Obama.
Democratic Race Tightens as Views of Clinton Become More Negative
She's dropped 15% in the past two months. She's slowly dying. Her favorability rating is one of the lowest it's ever been during the Clinton administration and her career in politics. America is starting to not like her.

The beast is being slayed. This is happening rather sudden. Her chances are starting to look slim, even though she has brought in a lot of cash America simply doesn't seem to like her. She's the least liked and most hated of the Democratic candidates. And everyone has an opinion of her which is strange. She's forced herself out there well.. it's just that nobody likes her. The other candidates have almost a 2-1 margin of being favored. She is the only one in the negative.

The Dems still seem to like her ok:

But I think this shows that if she gets the nomination the Dems are putting up someone America doesn't like and would have a very tough time getting elected.

Perhaps the sentiments contained in the preceding post, are not yet sufficiently favorable to procure them general favor; a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defence of custom. But the tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason.
