Dude with a gun barricaded inside NASA today

Some crazy guy supposedly has a gun at NASA today (Houston), fired shots, and I believe I read he had barricaded himself in....

Another "gun-free zone".... any coincidence?

Gun Free zones are nothing more than killing zones...if someone is willing to murder and commit suicide they do not give a shit about "gun free" zones that is simply a feel good fuzzy that a bunch of gun control activists have pushed onto the general population.

I don't think NASA would allow their non-security employees to enter their building armed regardless. I don't think non-security should be allowed in government buildings armed to be honest.

Then they need to have the security in place to check all incoming employees.

I agree. NASA should have armed security and metal detectors if they don't have them already. There's too much important information there for someone to be able to walk in with a gun and do what they did.

What I heard was that once you got your clearance and ID, you could basically go anywhere you wanted without security concern - that is unacceptable in a "gun-free zone" - if it is going to be "gun free" they need to have a security apparatus in place to guarantee the protection of their law-abiding employees.
