The debate will be shown again on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend on MSNBC. I am not positive about the time. I think it is 3:00 on Saturday and 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Obviously they all do agree with Reid. We know that by implication. If they didn't think the war was lost, they wouldn't be in favor of pulling the plug.

But you don't declare defeat and leave. You declare victory and leave, which is what they're doing, saying that the troops did their job, and now it's in the hands of the Iraqis.

Basically, Reid is a dumbass for characterizing our actions as a loss, and they're not going to compound his mistake by agreeing with it. It was a mistake because of the words he used, not because of the substance. That the war is a lost cause is something a majority of people agree with. You just aren't supposed to say it in public in such a blunt, defeatist way.
