The truce has largely held, though Gaza militants have periodically fired rockets into Israel.

And the Israeli's have peridically conducted raids and arrested people. Sounds about even to me.

in response to militants planting bombs, launching rockets, and attacking israelis.............. whatever. Like I said, we should back up, let the israelis and arabs fight it out, recognize the govt that wins.

No, 8 times out of 10 Israel starts the violence by some absurd god-given-right-to-take-your-land mindset. Or some IDF incursion with the aim to arrest, detain, kill, or more often demolish.

And no your solution is categorically wrong. Who is going to win the battle, those who use Merkava Tanks on civilian apartment buildings (Israel did it, a War Crime), Apache Attack Helicopters on civilian city blocks (Israel did it, a War Crime), as well using cluster bombs on civilians (Israel did it, a War Crime) and shoot-to-kill protesters simply throwing rocks (Israel did it).

Who do you think will win this proposed conflict? Obviously those who use the 120mm Tank Shells, Hellfire Missiles, and 5.56mm bullets on the unarmed civilian populous, those who use military hardware on soft human bodies, Israel will win in a massacre.

I don't know who would win, especially seeing as the arabs have proven their willing to fire rockets into civilian areas (a war crime), plant bombs in civilian areas (a war crime), hide in their own civilian areas so civilians are killed when israel retaliates (a war crime), use civilian houses to store weapons and hide their terrorists (a war crime).............

This is a great illustration of why Israel is the real underdog. Blame Israel for everything. Well, innocent people wouldn't have to die if the Arabs weren't so hell bent on killing Jews in any wayshape or form. Israel wouldn't have to respond to people firing rockets at it's ciillians, orsending suicide bombers since dayone. None of this conflict has been started by Israel. But the blame Israel first and no matter what people refuse to believe.

Israel did not violate the cease fire. The Arabs did. Anything else is a lie.

If Israel let loose their real might, that would definately end the conflict in a few short days.
