| Anyone watching Journeys with George? It's on MSNBC now. It's a documentary from his first presidential campaign filmed by Alexandra Pelosi (Nancy Pelosi's daughter) from NBC. It's interesting to watch Bush in his element so to speak. It's also interesting to see just how hostile the press is towards Republicans in general as well as Bush. There's a lot of elitism going on from the press as well. Saying they spend most of their time with "stupid people" etc when they're filming the campaigning.

| Chris Matthews interviews Alexandra to discuss the film and closed by asking Pelosi something like... "When people see this they ask themselves, is this the person sweating it out in the White House. Is this the unintellectual I may have voted for, mistakenly." What the fuck is that? | ||||

| That is the bias of the press coming out in full force. The press hates this man. While I'm not fond of his politics he's been given more shit than any other president. | ||||

| ..and deservedly so, considering all that he has been involved in and done. It's not the job of the press to like a President or become friends with him and his staff, that sort of non-adversarial relationship is one of the reasons we're in Iraq to begin with. | ||||

But Al Gore who has made many misrepresentions of global warming and has a history of exaggerated personal stories is a great intellectual? Bill O'Reilly writes his own books but Al Franken needs 30 guys form Harvard to fact check and even then the subtitle is a book "with jokes" just in case anything leftover looks stupid. It is about time the presumption of intellect from the left is exposed as total emotional fraud it has become.

| I don't think going after Bush for the wrongs he's done is 'bias,' rather I'd call it critical reporting. Anytime the press learns of something shady, illegal, immoral, unethical, etc, that a President or someone in Congress has done, it is their duty to go after it as rigorously as possible and report it to the American public, regardless of the political party of the person. Bush does deserve it, not because he's a Republican or because I disagree with his policies, but because of his actions. | ||||

| I am digging how the left bias of the media is so over exaggerated because they keep reporting bush's fuck ups. Maybe if they gave him some other news to report it would be different. They covered him quite well when he was standing on the pile of rubble in New York. He had them at "hello" and fucked it up...just like he did every other thing he has ever done in his life. | ||||
