Isn't the SS card sort of a National ID already? I'm not really sure what the difference is.

I really liked Tancredo's, Huckabee's, and of course Paul's answers.

Clean up with Kieth Olbermann's review of the debate. The Dems should go on Fox and stop crying.

Four people, Olbermann gets his own side of the table and they're sitting around mocking the GOP and praising the DNC candidates. WTF is that post-debate commentary. And Fox couldn't give a more fair debate... come on. The Dems just lost every right to complain.

if not for any other reason, nobody should vote for McCain based on what seems like an absolute love of the line-item veto, which we all should be able to agree is unConstitutional

Yeah, Paul really came across well.. I suggest voting on those polls if you like him... both drudge and msnbc.

Of all the GOP candidates I like him the most by far.

It seems as though Romney won the debate, in people's eyes. My favorite response from him was to the question 'what would you say to a priest...'

His answer: 'I wouldn't say anything to the priest, they can do whatever they want'.

But I think he's full of it when he says he doesn't let his religious beliefs interfere with his decisions. What a crock.

Matthews gave way too many questions to Romney, Mccain (who was absolutely pathetic), and Rudy (who stumbled over everything he said). This was upseting because the American public has already seen these guys on TV enough. It's as if the media has already chosen the GOP front runners and everyone else was there 'just to be fair'. The format of the debate was very poor overall and it was frustrating to see that Ron Paul probably spoke for 4 minutes total.

Yeah, it was amazingly frustrating to watch him let Romney ramble on for 20-30 seconds at a time and then cut off everyone else after 10...

It didn't give the other candidates a chance to really get themselves and their positions out there to the American public.

What pissed me off even more was the post-debate coverage, where they didn't really focus on anyone but the big names anyway..

we have the media pick our candidates for us

in reality, this is the real first election where the internet could have a MAJOR impact
