Screaming Paris Hilton sent back to jail - Yahoo! News
Screaming Paris Hilton sent back to jail

LOS ANGELES -
Paris Hilton was taken from a courtroom screaming and crying Friday seconds after a judge ordered her returned to jail to serve out her entire 45-day sentence for a parole violation in a reckless driving case.
Do Not Pass Go. Do Not Collect $200.

"It's not right!" shouted the weeping Hilton. "Mom!" she called out to her mother in the audience.
Mommy can't save you this time.

Amazing isn't it?

To be fair. Going to jail would suck. I'm sure she is scared and worried about being there. But you know what. When she gets out she will still be rich, maybe even more famous and her old life will start right back where it left off. Others aren't that lucky. I'm sure a lot of people, if they went to jail for 45 days, would lose their job which would in turn maybe cause them to lose their house, car etc. They not only have to worry about being in jail but what will happen when they get out and how will they get back on their feet.

She'll be better off when she gets out. She'll be more famous and there will be more of a buzz over her. She'll probably even make money off this, not that she needs it.

Gretta of Fox News was in court two feet from Paris and says she was shaking in Court. Made me think of a wet poodle! Thinks she does need medical care. I vote for 50% drugs 50% acting!

Sorry, I have 0% sympathy..........

And on Letterman the other day Nicole Richey (not to be outdone by her friend) said she has to go to court this month to find out if she is going to jail. What did she do?

My good friend just got out after serving 5 months. He lost one of his cars. He's stuck at home on house arrest for 60 days but is trying to find a job for when he finishes house arrest. He doesn't have a drivers license for 3 years (though if he pays his fines quickly enough, that can be reduced). Luckily he is very smart plus has a loving girlfriend and sister that have kept the bills paid at their place (they all live together) while he was locked up. But you are right, pulling time in the slammer can completely wreck your life, which has to contribute to why most people end up going back.

That sucks for them, doesn't it. Maybe they should have THOUGHT before they committed the crime. No sympathy for criminals from me.

It isn't irregular in CA for her to have been released that fast.

Our jails are OVER RUN. People barely serve piddely sentences out here because there is no room. She is taking up space in a solitary that should be used for murderers and really dangerous inmates. They need that room for the violent people.

I think it's pathetic that people are so happy to see someone miserable like that.

If she goes batshit because she's in jail, then you hang her for not taking it.

If she smiles the whole time, then she needs to be punished harder.

Her punishment should fit the crime, and it doesn't. People with less money get less of a sentence, she is being made an example of.

Live in LA/OC, and it's not hard to see the circus being created....it makes me wonder if something serious is going on a G8 and this is how to distract the masses.

People get let out like that all the time. The Sheriff's do have the power because they run the jails, and if they are crowded, like usual, they let the nonviolents out. It happens everyday. And not just for her.

She is in the for violating probation. This is what happens in CALI. If you don't like it, help us get rid of the illegals in the jails so we have room.

That is part of this case people don't seem to get. In fact I was seeing a trend of actual Paris sympathy on the news last night. Much of it from celebrity worshiper Heraldo Rivera. Everybody keeps saying the sentence was excessive. And in most cases they would be correct. But this is not like most cases. A fine is no punishment for a rich girl. A prolonged suspended license is no big deal either when she can afford a driver or pay cab fare. Unlike your friend there is zero burden here and the fact that she broke probation twice showed no respect for her easy DUI sentence in the first place. So this judge did what was in his power to really punish her and get a message through. That was jail time! Good for him!
