| Which Political Figure (living or dead) would you love to be friends with and why? Anyone on this forum that knows me should know my answer... Alexander Hamilton. He was in my opinion the greatest thinker of the Founding Generation, and I would love to be able to talk candidly with him about issues both of his time and our own, as well as greater philosophical issues that transcend any single issue.

| Franklin. He loved to eat and drink good beer. What could be better than that? I actually think about who would I most like to bring into the present world and show around. That would be Franklin as well. | ||||

| James Jesus Angleton, ..., but then he aint really a politician, & I doubt he'd tell me what i want to know anyway. Maybe LBJ on a 'black dog' day? Paine seems a nice choice coz he seems so personally unpleasant so hanging with him in a city might be fun | ||||

| Sorry but I have to pick more than 1: - Madison, the father of the constitution, would be interesting to see what he thinks of the current government (my guess is that its much too powerful) - Paine, he was ahead of his time - anti-slavery, more democratic etc - he was eloquently progressive and one of the most important founders of America - John Stuart Mill - Julius Caesar - Jesus, to tell everyone to stop doing things in his name and to take responsibility for their actions
