Who is more of a partisan hack, Sean Hannity or Jon Stewart?

HANNITY: "I never questioned anyone's patriotism." (9/18/03)

HANNITY: (to attorney Stanley Cohen) "Is it you hate this president or that you hate America?" (4/30/03)

HANNITY: "Governor, why wouldn't anyone want to say the Pledge of Allegiance, unless they detested their own country or were ignorant of its greatness?" (6/12/03)

HANNITY: "You could explain something about your magazine, [the Nation]. Lisa Featherstone writing about the hate America march, the [anti-war] march that took place over the weekend..." (1/22/03)

HANNITY: "'I hate America.' This is the extreme left. There is a portion of the left -- not everybody who's left -- that does hate this country and blame this country for the ills of the world..." (1/23/02)

HANNITY: (speaking to Sara Flounders co-director of the International Action Center) "You don't like this country, do you? You don't -- you think this is an evil country. By your description of it right here, you think it's a bad country." (9/25/01)

Why should one U.S. airman give up his life when our national security is not in imminent danger?
SH

HANNITY: "You're not listening, Susan. You've got to learn something. He had weapons of mass destruction. He promised to disclose them. And he didn't do it. You would have let him go free; we decided to hold him accountable." (4/13/04)

HANNITY: "[After 9-11], liberal Democrats at first showed little interest in the investigation of the roots of this massive intelligence failure...[Bush and his team] made it clear that determining the causes of America's security failures and finding and remedying its weak points would be central to their mission." (Let Freedom Ring, by Sean Hannity)

HANNITY: It's more than that. I think it's also the leaders in the Democratic Party that, from the very beginning, have undermined this war. If I were to give you a quiz, Mr. Speaker, and if I would say to you, "You know, was it [Sen.] Ted Kennedy [D-MA], [House Democratic Leader] Nancy Pelosi [D-CA], [Rep.] John Murtha [D-PA] who said, 'George Bush gives continuous, deliberate misinformation. Polls reveal that we want to withdraw from Iraq.' " You would have guessed either of -- any of those. Well, it was bin Laden who said that.

TekDragon has absolutely no credibility to begin with...so his opinion on this is even less important.

Hanity wins by default since Jon Stewart is little more than a comedian who takes out bits and peices of current events and frames them in a funny way to viewers with short attention spans (since he's on Comedy Central that last part is redundent).

I voted for Hanity since he's the only one of the two who has a job serious enough to have his view considered partisan. Jon Stewart will always be a comedian, and he'll always be known for acting like a little bitch on CNN.

You guys need to quit going after eachother

Anyway, Hannity is. Stewart is a comedian and he's gone after Democrats on certain things / made fun of them. When they retake the majority, he'll have to bag on them some

i think he takes himself very seriously... i think he can debate, and very well may i add, against the best of them. So in that case, my vote goes to hannity.

Sean Hannity is a huge partisan, I think stewart is too but he's a comedian so I find it more appropriate.

Hannity for sure.

I guess you are talking about the other thread. Let me clarify since you are thinking incorrectly here.

to be honest, many times the Daily Show points out things I never would have picked up on reuters...like the current clip, or Ted Stevens calling an email "an internet" and describing the internet as "a series of pipes"

That's informative

While Stewart's show is deemed "comedy" i think that is a scapegoat. I am pretty sure his intention is to make government look foolish regardless of political party. While the news clips are bits and pieces usually, it is still fairly accurate.

I mean.. how much more information you need when the Alaskan fucking wierdo says "THE INTERNETS ARE NOT A DUMP TRUCK BUT A SERIES OF TUBES!"... i dont think we need any more of that speech. The scarier part is he is the guy in charge of regulating that area.

Hannity and some (who will remain nameless) on this board sound EXACTLY alike...and i mean like clones or something. For example the quotes above could have a poll like "Who said this, Sean Hannity or TLL Forum poster A" and it would be tough to guess.

Who you talking about DosEquis? I'd be interested in knowing who you're flattering by saying they sound exactly like one of the most knowledgable people in the world when it comes to current events and politics.

Sean hannity and knowledgable is laughable... but tossing in "people in the world" is just over the top

Sean Hannity may know past events but his interpretation of those events is a problem.

Sean Hannity...knowledgeable?

He is a college drop-out who forced himself to read conservative talking points for years to advance his radio career

Go to any county jail, find someone with a radio voice, and they could do HIS EXACT JOB

But nice of you to not put any quotes by Stewart.

This seems to be a biased poll.
