Just curious because I'd be likely to vote for him in the general election. Is he doing well? Not doing well? Mediocre?...

| I'm not a Democrat but I thought he did horribly in the debate, he was sweaty and out of breath and wasn't very coherent.. he does much better in 1 on 1 interviews, or at least sitting down.. he's a pretty heavy guy I think he's probably one of the top qualified Democratic candidates for President, but I don't think he's going to make it far enough | ||||

| It's the problem that everyone is all "OBAMA V. HILLARY and yeah check out Edwards too" people aren't even looking at Dodd, Biden, despite their impressive resumes...I don't think they ever will However, Richardson is firmly in 4th, but it seems unlikely to change...Hillary should never drop to 4th, Obama would need a huge disaster, and Edwards is well seasoned from 2004, I don't see him dropping...there's just no room for Richardson...as we speak, politics is fluid Right now, people are like "yeah, Richardson looks like the best candidate to win...BUT Edwards does amazing in the polls (beats even Rudy in Rasmussen and Newsweek) and Obama has charisma Richardson doesn't seem to have" There's just no drive to get the candidate with the absolute best resume when we know from experience that governors from Arkansas can quickly become the best world leaders ever seen, in a post 9/11 world, Bush has played that hand so often that we aren't really afraid of it Richardsons comments also can be disheartening, like his talk about how he's against any tax raise, which he's tried to dance around, but the bottom line is Democrats can not keep these huge tax breaks for those making over a quarter of a million a year, these huge estate breaks that give Paris Hilton an extra billion are also ridiculous...it's alienated some of the progressives who want a strong resume candidate, and right now thats the main audience | ||||

| If it wasn't for SC nominees, I'd honestly consider Rudy if it was like Kucinich nominated, however thats always a deal-breaker for me...the SC has been so important in the "war on terror" and abortion the past few years, we have to replace Ginsburg and Stevens with liberals or else it's going to turn into a 7-2 HARD CORE CONSERVATIVE court, it'd bad enough we have 4 hard core cons and 1 leaning right GOPer who decides things pretty conservative, and that's what makes the rulings, but the 4 liberal dissenters need to stay there to side with the leaner on tough calls or else all hope is lost | ||||

Do you see him gaining any traction as we get closer to 08? Clinton was an unknown until the end of 1991 and early 1992 where he took the party by storm.

Richardson...I dunno if he has that kind of personality anyway Basically, you need someone to screw up for Richardson to be anything but a probable VP (I'd prefer he ran for Senate)

| I'd love to see a debate between Richardson and Paul. I'm sick and tired of these fluffy candidates such as Obama, Clinton, Romney, and McCain. | ||||
