Oh my bad. Because the OP referenced the US in particular, and my posts referenced the US in particular, I was under the assumption that you too were talking about the US.

Since your not, your posts are pretty much irrelevant as a response to my posts. Sorry for responding.

That's silly. They are idiots... but they are still Christians. But I'll play along: When someone thinks killing in the name of Allah is justified I don't consider them Islamic anymore. Wow. Islamists have never killed anyone through terrorism. Ever. Wow.

sorry but they not following the biggest parts of the religion, that removes them from the group.

Notice I didnt mention anything about the fundamentalists who attack abortion clinics etc.... because they are following a form of Christianity.

Except the Quran actually says to do those things.

So by "non-denominational" I guess you just meant "non-Protestant" or "non-Catholic." Clearly other denominations don't meet your "biggest parts of the religion" criteria, right?

Except the Quran actually says to do those things.
Please cite your source. Chances are, you're "taking it out of context." Isn't that what you'd tell me if I put Christian doctrine under the same scrutiny?

Christianity is from the Jewish God. If a group of people refute that one thing, they arent Christian since the Mesiah is supposed to be Jewish.

The entire book. If we give ourself to Allah, they are supposed to welcome us with open arms otherwise off with the head.

And no there are no Christian verses promoting mass killings. The OT and the Quran have similar parts though.

The OT is part of Christian teachings. It is part of the bible.

There are plenty of positive phrases in the Quran as well as negative

The Gospel of Matthew is practically founded on the Hebrew Testament, there's no trying to shrug it off as "oh thats not really christian"

At it's core, it's just as Hermetic as it is Mosaic.

Christians, as a whole, allow for all sorts of exceptions that go completely against their Jewish roots. Believing that the Messiah wasn't Jewish is hardly a digression from the norm, in terms of being Talmudically antithetic.

Nice citation.

OT is Christian doctrine.

Matthew? No, not really. It came too late. Mark was the most aligned with Jewish doctrine out of the synoptic Gospels. Paul, obviously, would have been the most Jewish.

Or are you making some sort of Hebrew primacy argument? (note that you'd be going against the scholarly consensus if that's the case)

Groups of people were killing each other long before religion came into it. Not many religions can claim innocence in the killing of "innocent" people. Christianity is CERTAINLY not one of them. Not only have Christians killed people, they killed them by claiming their relgion gave them the right to. These terrorists that do that are doing the same thing those Christian zealots did...putting their own meanings into a book of words. That's the problem with religious texts being so vague. Any nut with an idea can push it onto others and then claim righteousness when commiting atrocities.
