went down to my family gathering for mother's day in RI yesterday.... I was late getting there and my whole family gathers around me ... it was kindof scary... i was like... oh shit... is this an intervention? for what i had no idea... then they tell me to sit down and point to the table where the word "twins" is on a plate...

my cousin Ane' (who is my age and i grew up with her so she's like my sister) is having twins! holy shit... i can't believe it... lots of jumping up and down, crying and hugging commenced. Ane's older sister Erin is also pregnant with her second child so they'll be giving birth within months of each other. I'm a sap, so I was balling considerably, then after we finally calmed down, i get the question.....

"so Linzy, when are you going to start having kids?"

um. i'm a tall white anglo girl. so is she. it's just a name... like Ani, but An-a, with a hard "a"...

I was just curious. I've never seen "Anna" (which is really all it is) spelled like that.

each year you wait makes it that much harder to conceive.......... my wife and I started trying when she was 28 and didn't conceive until she was 31. Then we started trying again when she was 33 and didn't conceive for over a year.

so, at 27 I just have two words (repeated over and over)................... TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

nope. my aunt made it up. we were talking about it yesterday at the mother's day luncheon... how so many people mispronounce it... she just wanted to be unique..
