This thread has been exceptionally entertaining. America's interventionist policies in the Middle East and having our troops on their holy land helped trigger 9-11. That's completely different than saying Bush planted bombs in the WTC. It's good that more people here see that reality. Ron Paul is not a "Truther", but he is speaking truth to power. I owe him another +1 rep point too. By saying that in a debate in front of a conservative crowd, he had a lot to lose. I admire his candor. Finally, someone talking like an adult and not just saying whatever to get elected. I like that. It seems his run is already making Republicans take a long hard look into the soul of their party, and if they can rediscover some of their core values, it will be a good thing for America in the long term. | ||||
