| In NJ we have EZ Pass.. a lot of states use it or a similar program. It's basically an RFID tag in your car that is assigned to your account so you can drive through tolls. The lanes on the left are typically EZ Pass lanes. The manned toll booths for change/receipts are usually to the right. So we can be pretty sure there was nobody in that booth he drove into... thankfully. And thankfully it was a slow time of day so there was no backup of people waiting to pay the toll. It's amazing how fast the car went up. He must have still had his foot on the gas or something. Anyone know the laws in NJ for people prone to seizures and driver's licenses? | ||||

| Also the officer was on the scene in under 10 seconds. They usually have state police checkpoints at tolls or a car hanging out. But that wasn't enough for the officer to have a chance at getting the man out. | ||||

This website covers a little information about the legal rights of individuals with epilepsy, including obtaining a driver's license: Epilepsy Foundation New Jersey This website gets a little more in depth into the whole deal: Safety while driving : Epilepsy.com | ||||
