| Romney leads in Iowa and New Hampshire If he keeeps this up, and Fred/Newt stay out...he may very well lock up the conservative vote after victories in those two states DesMoinesRegister.com Up to 30%, 12 points over anyone else, in Iowa...using that momentum... Romney leads GOP contenders in a N.H. poll - The Boston Globe He keeps his 32% which is a 9 point lead in NH, winning that state...which should lock up the nomination, because all the conservative votes will jump on the winning horse to make sure pro-choice Rudy or shady McCain don't get the nod | ||||

| if anything else, Romney is esthetically pleasing to uninformed republicans. you'd be surprised how far that can take a candidate....

| I think his flip flopping ways are going to cause him problems once people start paying more attention to the candidates.. he has changed so much about himself depending on the office he has been running for I'm sure there's plenty of people out there waiting to take advantage of it when the time is appropriate, they don't want to launch attacks too soon or people will stop caring by the time the election rolls around | ||||

| Other GOP presidents flip-flopped on issues, infact the 1978 GOP and 1984 GOP are basically one huge flip flop, don't even get me started on the 2004 GOP I think the last big issue the Dems flipped on was race, and it cost them the south...its really amazing to think Jimmy Carter carried the entire South with him and it was the cornerstone of his election, then talk to Al Gore about how a few thousand votes in the tiny state of New Hampshire would have given him the election without a single southern state | ||||

| Once more and more people realize he's a Mormon, he won't get voted for. Religious Right will not vote for a Mormon. Looks like one of the 2nd tier candidates will be getting those votes (hopefully Paul | ||||
