Did we land on the Moon?

Ok, so, with all of these conspiracy theories wandering around about how the United States never actually landed on the moon due to discrepancies between the photographs taken on the moon; do you think we landed on the moon?

Indeed we did, Buzz Aldrin didn't punch a skeptic "debunker" in the face for nothing. What the Apollo astronauts have seen on the moon apparently, this little pissant skeptic had no idea of.

The truth is much more explosive than one would imagine.

The "proof" that the landing was faked has been thoroughly debunked by multiple sources, including things like the shadows being different sizes, the illumination, and the radiation.

There was a good special on the Discovery channel not too long ago dealing with this. Either Discovery or National Geographic. Can't remember

I don't think the Government is that good at keeping such a huge secret.

But it is an interesting point to wonder whether we actually did land on the moon, or if it was a just a covert publicity ploy to discourage the Soviets and make them feel like we had won. Hmm....

The government is full well competent and capable of keeping secrets, with the formalism of compartmentalising "sensitive operations" it is very easy to hold information under wraps. You couldn't imagine the kind of secrecy they employ.

They had nearly the technology that we did and they monitored everything we did in space...they knew we went to the moon or they would have been screaming that we didn't and would have been showing proof of it within minutes of figuring it out.
