*warning if the links are disabled or you can't see this post in the future, it's because the admins have decided the post is anti-military/soldier/american/whatever

even if you're running for president, you shouldn't say we've used "force" (our military) to "impose" (sounds pretty fascist doesn't it?) on others...that anyone could suggest that the US military imposes an unjust doctrine on someone else...I know some are looking for the nearest tree to hang Ron Paul, or the quickest way to delete this thread, but quick, enjoy Ron Paul's performance while you can:

Crooks and Liars » Ron Paul Continues His Assault on Rudy Giuliani

And ofcourse, post your thoughts, remember time is limited

He looks tired, but he had plenty of energy and came off strong. This was one of his best performances yet. It's a shame it was done on a liberal outlet.

He makes a lot of sense and speaks a lot of truth. I disagree with the notion that using the military to impose is unjust. It has done a lot of good in the past and will continue to do so in the future. I think it all depends on what their mission is and how deeply someone is willing to support it. There won't always be victories, I think Bush and Co royally screwed this one up, but the world would be a lesser place had the US not had a strong military to help poor nations as well as help out in say Europe during the World Wars.

In any event though, the majority of our country is currently not supportive of a continued war in Iraq. And I think Ron's message strikes well with liberals and independents. I think if the Republicans got their heads out of their butts they'd see that Ron is a very good candidate who could possibly go the distance in a national election over a Republican who is in favor of the war.

Your direct download link doesn't work, leads to the main page of Crooks and Liars for some reason..

I thought this was a great interview, it illustrates everything I like about Ron Paul. He's educated, informed, and has history on his side.. and isn't afraid to say what needs to be said about where the Republican party is and where it needs to get back to.

I'm glad Maher finally gave him some time, and I hope he continues to participate in the debates and can raise enough cash to stay in it.. even if he doesn't win, perhaps he can have a lasting impact on the stances Republicans take by showing them how popular a throwback conservative position can be with independents an moderate liberals.

Glad to see Maher still has hard hitting guests like Ben Affleck on

Good interview though. I miss having HBO sometimes.
