Looks interesting........ another one I would recommend is called The Devil's Playground. A movie about the Amish religion which is very fascinating and well done.

Wow......... that is some scary footage. Teaching kids to be warriors for Jesus copying the Muslim way of training their kids at an early age to lay their life down for God. Then mixing in politics praising Bush, praying for Bush, and smashing government.

This film clearly a devisive film saying it is us against them. You are either with us or you are with them. One country under God and the political implications this Jesus camp portrays is downright scary. I think this film demonizes the Evangelical religion.

Sheana and I have had this DVD sitting on our shelf from Netflix for almost a month now, finally decided to watch it yesterday.

The thing that makes me the saddest isn't that they believe this (in my humble opinion) psychotic crap. The thing that grinds my gears is that these children aren't being exposed to ANYTHING that offers an alternative view. I'm a fan of giving all the information, and when I have kids I plan to expose them to all the varying viewpoints and letting my child make his or her own decision on what to believe.

75% of the home schooled children in this country are Evangelical... That's no coincidence; evangelical parents know on some level, whether they'll admit it or not, that their belief system is so fragile (because of it so crazy) that allowing their children to be exposed to anything else will destroy all the "good work" of indoctrination they've done.

Yea, we burst out laughing at that ... I've known a few 5 year olds in my time; a 5 year old is doing good to be able to understand the concept of sharing toys. Feeling a need for "more from life" is the farthest thing from a five year old's mind.
