So, I think people (and companies) do have a choice, and I think there's a growing number of people in the country who are making the choice to stay away from Chinese made products whenever possible because of this lack of quality control.

China made me start a garden. I am tired of my food being snuck to me from China, and then having no idea about it. If I can't grow it, or buy it local, or know where it came from, I'm not eating it anymore.

I've been gardening since I bought my new home in '00. In fact, right now, I'm eating cucumbers grown in my back yard. Woo hoo! My wives and I can blackberry jam, pickles, salsa (I just made some Magma Sauce that'll eat thru human flesh- mwahahaha- just ask if you want the recipe), spaghetti sauce, etc.

In my home business, I design, prototype, and have made right here in the USA various kinds of parts for racecars.

I'm doing my best to do my part. But it's up to EVERYONE to just look around and see where all their consumerist activity is going.
