| Neither of which should be legislated, so it's not that big of a deal in my opinion. But that does suck for the kid. Sounds like he needs to get his shit together. But with an overzealous father like Gore, I could understand why his kids might be going astray. | ||||

| overzealous father? I dunno, he might be incredibly passionate about some stuff but I don't think we know much about what kind of father he is? | ||||

I think it might have come out the wrong way. But there's clarification on how I meant that. | ||||

| Some of you have some fucked up ideas about what SHOULD be law. BTW, at least Gore was driving a Hybrid. I can just imagine the Republican response if it was a Hummer. | ||||

| It's probably the only thing daddy would buy for him. I wonder what kind of mileage a Prius gets doing 100mph? | ||||

| That's one of the things that bugs me, it's like there's something wrong with putting preventative measures in place to discourage irresponsible behavior. Driving 80+mph near a park is asking for something to happen, and while sure the person would be punished (civil, criminal) if something happened, it doesn't bring back someones kid, or someones ability to walk. | ||||

| No I don't! I think the priorities of both parents in this case are clear. Let us not forget it was Mrs. Gore who once wanted to control music for young people before they became cool. I don't need an ounce of sympathy for either of them although I won't blame the kid for the actions of the parents!
