if I was deaf I'd want a couple 15" subs and a huge amp so I could watch them rhythmically move, I'm sure it would be relaxing, plus it would provide a massage-like effect if you leaned on a pillow against them or something

I'm not sure what the neighbors would think, but then again, I wouldn't be able to hear them bitch either

This deaf lady on American Inventor (used to be able to hear, but lost her hearing due to disease) created a jacket with speakers in it that faced in towards the body, so that the vibrations could be enjoyed by a deaf person without the music needing to be blaring out of a stereo.

It was really cool.

I don't know, I simply prefer silence. I will listen to music if others around me have it on, but I do not own a CD player, Ipod, radio, or any of that sort of stuff, and don't listen to it in my spare time.

No music on my computer either.

formerly 'post punk junk'

now with a slightly wider remit, ..., huzzah etc

lots to see & hear here, ..., full of surprises, gems & wonders highly recommended if you want an eccelectic bunch of rock/avant garde-ish stuff, (also has bill hicks, hunter s thompson & richard pryor live recordings)

& if you want summat to read whilst listening then this is diverting, interesting, surprising, quirky & slightly informative-ish

strange maps
the US states renamed after countries with similar GDP may well amuse
& fanx once again to the good folk at bfc for the strangemaps link
