What ever happened to the anthrax sender after 9/11?

Remember after 9/11 someone sent anthrax to various government destinations and wound up killing several people? Did they ever catch the culprit? From what I remember, the anthrax was refined so that it actually made a decent weapon (spread easily), which cannot be done by amateurs.

Who done it?

This is crazy. The packages were sent by someone inside the USA who's still running around. This person has access to biological weapons, has the ability to refine them into military grade standards, and he's (presumably) waiting on the sidelines to strike again.

I'm more concerned about this guy than a bunch of durka durkas. The worst they can do is make crude bombs and scare people. This guy could do much worse. What if he sent out a number of (leaking) anthrax packages to Wall Street, or DC, etc.? They'd have to evacuate the entire area and be cleaning it for weeks if not months, even though maybe only a couple people would die like last time. He wields more power than anyone, and he's not talked about anymore. And the scariest thing is that this isn't a hypothetical...he's already done it, can do it again, and he's still out there.

Take away the terror, and the destruction isn't that bad when you consider how car accidents, for example, kill multitudes more people.

Completely shutting down large areas because of biological contamination that will take months or years to clean up is on another level. With the exception of 9/11, life was back to normal in fairly short order with the conventional terror attacks. Anthrax attacks could halt the country for substantial periods of time.

Look at Israel. They've gotten to the point where a suicide bomber blows up, the clean up crew comes, and a few hours later it's like nothing ever happened. If you can muster that kind of defiance and keep life going, then you've, in a way, defeated the terrorists. You can't do that if large areas are covered in anthrax.

It is scary you can die by just touching a letter or touching a letter that touched a letter that had Anthrax on it. Yet some people are immune to it. It only kills people who have no immunity to it. Some people were lucky and some not so lucky when that happened.

From what I remember, not all anthrax can do that. You have to refine it so that the particles are so tiny that can get in through your skin, and it takes quite a bit of skill to do that. There's some biologist scientist terrorist out there.

Whoever it was they may have stopped soon enough to keep from getting caught or they just ran out of the stuff? We can only hope that however they got it they no longer have access, but who knows.

The power elite knows who did it. It was supposed to be an extension of the 9/11 attacks, but people began reacting a little too badly to the story, so they had to quash it. That's why it just up and vanished. The power elite created 9/11, and they created the "anthrax letters" as part of it. It didn't go well, so they swept it under the rug and moved on.

Just wait 'till the next terrorist attacks.

Rather than making people feel strong and patriotic, it made people too afriad. See, for people not living in NY, the Twin Towers were just a common symbol of America, like the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in St. Louis. People saw the attacks happen on the news, and became angry, resolved, and patriotic about giving up their rights for security, and starting wars with nations not involved in the attacks on grounds of potential WMDs and "breeding ground for terrorists". The anthrax letters caused a different reaction. EVERYONE has a mailbox. It just didn't strike the right nerve, so the Power Elite swept it under the rug. The next terrorist attack will be similar to 9/11 . It won't be a nuke taking out 100 square miles. Maybe a little dirty bomb or something. But just like the last attack, it has to take time to unfold, just like 9/11, so America has time to turn on their TVs to watch it happen in living color. Maybe a conventional bomb in a building, then a larger bomb?
