| Upon further reflection, I support the actions of the hecklers. I wish that every time the Senate had a prayer of any faith, someone from an opposing faith would shout that prayer down. That way, maybe, the Senate would get the point that a secular government building is not the place to entertain ceremonies of religion that have absolutely nothing to do with the business of the Senate. Why can't people just practice their religion on their own time? Why do they always insist on trying to use the government as a platform to promote it? As if the Senate weren't contentious enough just dealing with politics, we have to inject a battle of invisible men as well? | ||||

So I have no idea what point you're making except that Muslims don't do it, but I think we've established that the Muslim faith is a lot younger than say...every other major world religion | ||||

| They have a right to say what they did. The chose a venue that they could be arrested to say it, and that's what they were arrested for. So, it's not the same as them being arrested for what they said. They were arrested for saying something and disrupting the Senate. I don't think the Senate is the place to spout off like that. But, they can say it all they want, and I will be one of the people to keep telling them they are wrong.

| I don't think the puritans were that wide spead. In their areas they were very intolorant and burned women. If you had said protestants who have a lot of puritan in them I would agree they had a lot of influence good and bad. | ||||
