The Rudy Myth: Guiliani Fraudulently Running on the Graves of 343 Dead Firefighters

Rudy is flatly responsible for the deaths of our beloved NYC firefighters. I and many other New Yorkers see this. But Mr. Guiliani, on his campaign trail, perpetuates a fraudulent myth today that he was a hero on 9/11.

Yet Guiliani indirectly killed those men. Since he hand-picked the defective handheld radios used With a no-bid contract in 2001, radios had no testing, and had not been evaluated. These radios picked in a no-bid contract by Rudy left our NYC firefighters "out of the loop" with no communication inside the WTC buildings on September 11.

Their radios did not work.

He also made no mention of the asbestos levels on The Pile after September 11th, 2001, leading to many respiratory health problems (including in my family). When Guiliani himself wears a dust-mask -- most rescue workers did not, unaware of the danger they were standing on top of and breathing in.

These are fathers of NYC firefighters, sons of NYC firefighters, and current NYC firefighters speaking against Rudy's Presidential Campaign in the video I posted above.

Since most of his run is based on "the 9/11 mayor" this is a big hit if it picks up offline as much as it has online

It seems pretty clear though, he's not the "hero" everyone made him out to be...even when it comes down to 9/11

Chris Matthews on the arrests of 15 firefighters by Guiliani's police force after finding the missing gold bullion on October 31st. Firefighters wanted to go back on The Pile to recover the body parts of their dead friends, but after the gold was found Rudy didn't care and had them pulled off.

And those tireless firefighters who made protest vocally and physically were arrested.

edit: at the end of this video you see our current mayor and the director of Homeland Security Tom Ridge; speaking about what a corrupt asshole (emphasis mine) Guiliani is.

Both Bloomberg and Ridge say Rudy was corrupt and allocated terrorism security money to himself and his cronies (a lot of it went to George Steinbrenner which was supposed to be for a new Yankees Baseball Stadium)

He even said if he had fore-knowledge of the attack and about a hijacking "we wouldn't have done anything differently" meaning more firefighters would die senselessly.
