| Well I hate to disappoint you, but there were hispanics from Florida that came to Georgia and other colonies/states, that were denied rights...asian and arab traders made frequent use of hundreds of years of the triangle trade, settling in many parts of the Americans, including the US | ||||

| You would think that would be enough, but they don't allow even smoking sections in many places. I guess even the thought of someone smoking can cause cancer to some people. ![]() Originally Posted by Linzyhop You realize you never had to smell like an ashtray at all, right?
You weren't forced to be around smokers, you chose to put yourself in that situation. There are plenty of smoke-free places you could have gone. And businesses here are suffering. Why go to a bar that won't let you smoke when you can drive a few minutes across the county line where you can smoke. Bars are closing down all over in cook county. | ||||

| I pointed out that there were hispanics, and even one way in which they came to be americans, and your logical response to me pointing out the facts is: so hispanics were "huge majorities" All I said was white males were the minority power who oppressed various groups, not that they were majorities...and the fact that they weren't "huge majorities" has nothing to what I posted except to try and say the fact that you were wrong is insigificant because blacks, hispanics, etc were not "huge majorities"... | ||||

To come home "smell[ing] like an ashtray at the end of the night" you really have to pretty much throw the contents of an ashtray onto yourself, in my experience.

| I haven't skimmed the whole thread... all that i know is that when i go to a smoke free bar or bowling alley, when i get home i dont stink like shit, my eyes do not burn, and i typically get laid. When i go to places with smoking, especially heavy smoking, I do not get laid, my eyes water when i get home, and i have to wash my clothes 5 times. | ||||
