| yeah I have been using it for 6 months. It is easily 50 cents cheaper a gallon than 87 unleaded thanks to all the subsidies. E85 is a bad idea for the long term as it is raising the price of corn and everything else at the same time. Yet I still use it as it is so much cheaper. I save about 15$ per fill up and I only get about 2 miles per gallon less. If the price was closer to unleaded I would not be using it. | ||||

| if e85 is going to stick around for the long haul they need to start making e85 specific engines... they could get much better gas mileage if they were built to use that additional octane efficiently if I lived somewhere where I could get e85 every day I'd be building a daily driver turbo motor | ||||

| I wrote the congressman about this one, in regards to how ethanol is no way a long term solution to energy. His reply said "it is part of diversifying our energy portfolio". He thinks that electric, hydrogen, and ethonal all have to replace regular gasoline. Then again he is bought and paid for by farmers and wrote part of the hydrogen bill. | ||||

| We don't have E85 in NJ. Not that I have found anyway. My car can't use it anyhow, and gas is 2.79 here. | ||||

| I've never seen E85 down here. ![]() Signs recently (as in the last six months or so) went up here on gas pumps saying that the gas may contain up to 20% ethanol. | ||||
