| hahah. yeah, well lucky for me after i was born the whole "hitting your kids is bad" thing became popular so I escaped the belt but my older brother and sister didn't....... but seriously. parents don't let the TV raise your kid and then complain about it!

haha. if you knew my parents.... my dad was an NRA guy. no, my brother was born in 71, sister in 69. they got the belt taken to them all the time growing up. when i got to be old enough to have it taken to me, by then it was considered bad parenting to belt or hit your kid. I grew up all the time hearing my brother and sister complain because I got "time outs" instead of belted. | ||||

| Yea it is so easy just to tell the parents to turn off the tv, when all their friends are watching tv and all of society think it is a god. It might be easy when they are young but much harder when they are teenagers, and want to be like everyone else and popular. Tv can say they have no responsibility but they do to society. I guess no one can force them to change but my god they should have some kind of feelings for the people in this country and the country itself, and do something make it better.
