But I've been playing since I was 4. Nearly 22 years. In HS I played with the local college, played at the governor's mansion for my state with a small group, was in various other small groups that played quite a few gigs back then. Got a scholarship for USC-Columbia, but ended up going to Georgia Tech. Played for a couple years early in college, but stopped and only pick it up occasionally, usually when I go see my family in TN and play bluegrass and shit with them (that side of my family is pretty musical). I also play an array of other instruments, most notably the Sax (Tenor, like slick willy  ). Was in all-state Jazz back in High School, and a number of bands early in college, some of which toured around the south east. Now-a-days I rarely pick it up.
