american youth, CNN, being idiots, etc.

so the other day the TV was on and i happened to walk into the room and watch some CNN. they had this dude talking about Hillary leading the polls as the dem candidate with obama coming in second, behind her by something like 16%

anyway they decided to interview some assholes to get an idea of what's going on in the minds of the american't people. the one asshole that they decided to show the viewers of CNN, who we were probably supposed to be impressed with, said that his son likes obama because obama is young and looks like he does. and his daughter likes hillary because she's a woman and she thinks, "ah yes, a woman. this is what america needs."

it occurs to me that there are only a few things that this could represent.

1. the vast majority of the american youth are blundering idiots who want to be politically represented by someone who shares similar physical traits.

2. CNN wants to make the the vast majority of the american youth look like blundering idiots who want to be politically represented by someone who shares similar physical traits.

3. CNN thinks that it's true and reasonable that the vast majority of the american youth want to be politically represented by someone who shares similar physical traits.




what this of course means is that, should a Libertarian President ever be elected, the American population will tend to be ugly.
