| I kept getting general emails from the Joe Biden campaign telling people to ask the other democratic candidates "Then what?" in regards to Iraq. They all want to get our soldiers home, but 'then what?'. | ||||

In regards to your question, it's hard to give specific answers when no one can possibly know EXACTLY what will happen when we pull out A safe answer and my personal strategy is to leave a strong special forces unit "unofficially" in Iraq, have about 40,000 marines in Kuwait, as well as several aircraft carriers in the gulf for air strikes...and that should be more than enough for the 1 in a million chance the al-qaeda terrorists got a viable stronghold in Iraq...when its our "allies" in Ramadi and our "allies" in Basra killing each other...we watch...after all they're both our "new best friends"

| Nobody will say it but the correct answer is "who cares?" The POLITICALLY CORRECT answer should be "FIX OUR BORDERS" though. | ||||

| I love how well they answer the questions...very vague, with no real plan...again. The main question is 'HOW?' for anything that's come their way. | ||||

| I really liked the format, surprisingly. They should do a better job of syncing the audio / video though.. but definitely interesting. I thought a lot of the questions were very direct, both from the videos and from Cooper. | ||||

I was so happy with Mike Gravel at the first debate but now he's just a drain like Kucinich, should be a 6 person debate...to be honest I'd say 4 but I don't want to hurt Dos's feelings ![]() With 4 people they could really battle out their differences on Iraq, universal healthcare, global warming, education But man...have they got a fucking monopoly on the issues...Rudy's only hope is to scare people with 9/11 or he'll go down in flames like the rest of the GOP candidates would against the Dems

| I don't understand why Obama warrants twice as much time to speak as someone like Biden, who has much more experience and seemingly better plans. | ||||

| Because he's polling ahead of Biden, and has raised much more money than Biden. Is it fair? Maybe not, but as I believe someone said in another thread, the news networks responsibility is not to inform, it's to make money. Their only responsibility is to their shareholders, even in a debate like this. They'll make money more money (through more viewers) by giving the candidates that people want to see and hear from (which can be judged by their poll numbers and amount of contributions) more time to speak. | ||||

| I'm not questioning the network as much as I'm questioning the voters... obviously Obama is in that position for a reason, though I'm not sure what it is. | ||||
