I can understand the whole anti-Lincoln thing because it destroyed most of modern day libertarian ideology having a practical approach, as everyone accepts that the federal government is securely supreme over the states

But the anti-FDR? I mean...you guys realize if someone didn't appease the 30%+ unemployed, and many others who sympathized, you'd have had a full scale revolt...maybe we'd be lucky like Britain and stay intact, but it's more likely we'd have went the way of Germany and Russia
