Probably, you're going to get a lot of semantic arguments that murder only involves one person killing another

I think torture and other things can be added on to what he did, I think the punishments for such things should be much, much harsher than they are right now.

Murderer is something that I don't think applies to the killing of animals.
If he is guilty of the things that he is being accused of, he is a disgusting degenerate piece of garbage. I don't think I would call him a murderer because, to me, that term means killing people. If he killed a child, he would be called a murderer, and if he kills a dog or a bunch of dogs.. it's not the same.
