| I went gambling! *LOTS OF PICS!* v.56k DIAF To celebrate my 21st birthday Sheana and I went to Shreveport, about 200 miles east of Dallas just inside Louisiana. Without further pomp and circumstance, pictars: Our directions   75 to 635 in Dallas, the High Five:  zOMG, trees and hills in Texas!?  Started with a quarter tank, and this is the only gas we bought the whole trip:  Hey look, a pile of dirt!   Sheana was hoping it was bernie, it wasn't.   49 miles to Shreveport.   Almost there, we're in Louisiana!  Our room in the Bossier City Econo Lodge, cheapness ftw!    This is the money I brought to lose:  This is the money Sheana brought to lose:  And this is where we went to lose it!  ----------- We started out by playing some slots, we both got up to about $60 after putting in $20, but we both ended up losing it all back. Then I gave up on that and got down to what I really wanted to do: play some Hold'em poker. Sheana continued with the slots and ended up losing all but $50 of what she brought, including some winnings she had originally. I on the other hand put down $120 at the poker table and left with $375, ending up with a grand total just over $400.  Next post: the return trip! | ||||

| Back into Texas:  This is one part of the remains of a massive grass-fire on the highway, probably about a mile long:  This driver is obviously confused, Texas license plate with LSU pride?   Did bernie break his semi!?  Yea, we're in oil country... This is a rest stop/picnic area, those are the tables:  Carl's Jr ftw... Sheana had a Guacamole Burger, I had a Jalapeno Burger:    Camels in Texas?   You'd think it'd be easy to retain employees at a porn store...:  Stopped by my parents' house to pick up some mail:  Home sweet home, Sheana's:  And inside we go to relax after our trip:  --- All in all, it was a fucking fun weekend! | ||||

|  Nice pics! Looks like a fun trip! I always kind of want to stop there when I'm driving to Texas each Christmas to see family, but never wind up doing it because by that point in the trip I'm ready to be in Dallas and off the road entirely And, that's not much of a hill IMO! That area of Texas torwards LA is very pretty though (for Texas.. especially with all the pine trees) | ||||
