What's more, he is saying that if she did get upset, he'd give her a lecture that what other people say means nothing unless its a true...so he'd tell her that unless she thinks she's ever overweight, there is nothing to worry about

That's not even to mention the fact that we are talking about other people. Like If I went around telling as many people as I could that Ballz beats his wife and drinks alot. I bet he would be mad because that directly effects him. Now other people have an incorrect opinion of him because of my defamation. I don't think he would just sit there saying " Well I know it's not true, so it doesn't matter".

It does matter what other people think of you.
