Daily Kos: I just returned from Falafel Bill's house

A good number of people on here have negative opinions of Mike Stark, but he in all probability helped tilt the election a few thousands votes against Allen (i won't list all the activist projects he did)

In large, even though Stark is acting as a reporter, most of DKos believes he went too far and rejected his activity, I am among them

So comment on either Stark's actions, or DailyKos's rejection of them

I chuckled a little bit. The only thing i consider a bit over is going on his property with the signs. His sexual harassment stuff was not a private thing, so putting crap in the mail is not a huge issue for me.

That's hilarious. While I personally liked what he did (how many times has O'Reilly sent a reporter to stick a camera in the face of some guy at the center of a controversy?), I also can see why the people at Dkos don't like it, as it kind of lowers the level of debate to the kind of crap O'Reilly and his thug crew do every night.

I think it's funny as hell and BillO is the biggest DB in the country, but this was over the top.

I can't blame the guys as Kos for being upset about this.
Bill is going to twist this guys actions into representing the whole site.

It's at the top of the site as being recommended...

But it is nice to see so many comments that are dead on in my opinion. Most of what he did didn't bother me so much as the context of some of the signs in the neighborhood. That was inappropriate.

DailyKos is a big site with a big membership, if you take a look at all the different commentors from the week (aka extremely active), the people who recommended that are maybe 1% of even that group, and like .01% of DKos in general, also many are recommending it because they want to voice their opinion that they disapprove and they want more to see

Honestly, I've barely written on DKos, even I have had over 2 diaries hit the "Recommended Diaries" list, plus several others selected by frontpage moderators for their nightly selection.

Also, the diary condemning his actions is recommended higher, infact it is THE most recommended diary.

But I am glad to see you agreeing with so many Kossacks

And it is that big collective membership that O'Rielly and others attack when they attack DailyKos. Every site has their good users and their bad. All of the users on the site make for a collective overview of what the site is. I do not believe it is what O'Rielly claims it is, but it definitely has its screwballs and they are definitely making an impact in the way people view the site. And for that the DailyKos's credibility gets spanked. Not neccesarily, it could grow and grow and be something like the Democratic Party...ie its so big that when a Democrat does something wrong, no one goes "oh look at how DEMOCRATS act" people go "it was only one guy"

Both parties are equally as corrupt. The problem is that the media slants so far left they can call the Republicans corrupt, etc and if the return is stated they try to pull their advertising or get the government to limit their conservative speech and balance them out.

Uhm...well...the point was that when an organization gets big enough, and there's no general regulation of membership, that membership gets free passes when its members start acting up

Do you see David Duke, who got over 600,000 votes in LA, as an example of a Republican?

One day, people will judge DKos by what its LEADERS do, not by whoever signs a registration form does...just like political parties
