You can actually maybe earn some cash doing this. So it might be worth your while.
I figured I would pass it on to you guys.
This is the e-mail he just sent out:

All,

As many of you know, I am launching my new service, Teach The People (http://www.teachthepeople.com), on September 17th at the TechCrunch20 ( http://www.techcrunch20.com) conference in San Francisco. Considering the PRESS that will be there, we should have a nice private launch (which I hope all of you will participate in). Currently, we need to seed our site with knowledge content. I was wondering if you knew of any teachers, graduate students, or PhD students who might be interested in making some additional cash in the future. In addition, I urge all of you to think of what you are knowledgeable in and TEACH IT! You can charge for your knowledge, or earn a % of our ad revenue if you teach for free! Info will be coming soon on how to sign up for this new service.

There is NO COST to use our service and all of you will receive 5 GBs of storage space for all of your knowledge. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TEACHING SOMETHING CONTACT ME RIGHT AWAY!

Again, you can teach anything, here are some examples:

The Philosophy of South Park
Bob Marley's Influence on R&B Music
Best Bars in NYC
The United States Relations With The Middle East
Effective Consulting Strategies
Effective Sales Strategies
Negotiations
Internet Marketing
Fashion Trends
Cooking Communities
Fitness Communities
Foreign Languages
Legal Reviews
Teach People About Your Bands Music
Teach A Sport
Share your new independent film
Product and Services marketing

You can also run Private Invite Only Communities:

Project workspaces
Research Communities
Private portfolios for your work
Fun communities with your friends

Anything.....excited for you all to see what we have built!

Thanks,
Jason Beckerman
President/CEO

Very interesting! I'll have to check it out. I have experience going to bars, watching South Park, and listening to Bob Marley. I didn't know you could get a degree in it, though!

I could see myself teaching that...

There aren'y any degrees involved. It's just a site where you can share knowledge. I think schools/professors could also make use of it, but it's not an accredited institution or anything.
