| If Ron Paul wins the primary (and thats a big if), any democratic candidate will win the general election easily. For one Ron Paul will find it very difficult to motivate the "conservative" base the way Bush could (using religion, family values etc), second his beliefs about abolishing just about every bureaucracy will seem very radical and turn off everyone else. So I can see why you would want him to win Ron Paul isn't a bad candidate, I actually agree with many of his ideals but in reality he has zero chance of winning and in the end, people will not vote for him no matter how much they align with his ideals, people like siding with people they think can win. | ||||
