Guiliani: I was at ground zero more than most of the rescue workers

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Giuliani: I was at ground zero as often, if not more, than most of the workers … I was there working with them. I was exposed to exactly the same things they were exposed to. So in that sense, I’m one of them,” Giuliani told reporters in Cincinnati Thursday.

-------------------------

So you guys think Rudy was the ultimate hero of 9/11...i mean...he apparently rushed to the WTC and was there more than the rescue workers! I mean, that guy is like super-man on steroids!

Drop your lines about Rudy, remember how the FDNY still are disgusted with Rudy that despites almost a decade of complaints (that were recieved by Rudy) he never got them 100% functioning radios, and it cost the lives of hundreds of fire-fighters on 9/11

Giuliani is such a piece of crap.

And it's easy to stay at the scene when all you have to do is pose for the camera, instead of pulling bodies out of the wreckage.

He's as bad as Hillary. I really, really hope he doesn't get nominated.

If it comes down to a Hillary/Giuliani face-off, I'm gonna vote third party, and then go home and cry myself to sleep huddled in the fetal position.

...an exhaustively detailed account from his mayoral archive, revised after the events to account for last-minute changes on scheduled stops, does exist for the period of Sept. 17 to Dec. 16, 2001. It shows he was there for a total of 29 hours in those three months, often for short periods or to visit locations adjacent to the rubble. [...]

A sample by Mount Sinai Medical Center of 1,138 participants in its study of health problems among rescue, recovery and debris removal workers found that they had spent a median of 962 hours at the World Trade Center site, or the equivalent of about 120 eight-hour days.

For Giuliani, Ground Zero as Linchpin and Thorn - New York Times

So he's an official liar, great

But did it really need to be official? He's just another elitist. I'm starting to wonder if these people really do think they are gods among men. I thought they were just pretending.

Why, did he line them up and shoot them?

no, he refused to give them fully functional radios multiple times

There is an American concept called negligence, if I forget my infant girl in a car when its 105 degrees, I'm responsible, but I didn't "line her up" and shoot her

It's funny how professional responsibility goes right out the window for conservatives except when it's the poor or anyone else people like to point at to make themselves feel better

The only people who are "personally responsible for causing ... deaths" on 9/11 are the scum who crashed planes into the buildings. NOBODY ELSE is personally responsible for anything that happened as a result of what they did.

Giuliani is a piece of shit (what the fuck makes you think I'd want to defend him?), but he's not "personally responsible" for anything of the sort. Maybe he didn't do something that could have prevented their deaths, but don't try to make it look worse than it is.

What if Rudy had ordered the building sealed? Or sent no firefighters/police to the scene, just let everyone fend for themselves...those extra deaths...would they be his responsibility?

Why not the broken radios then?

"Should have got them better radio equipment sometime during his 7 years in office" is not even remotely similar to "locked them inside a burning building, while laughing and twirling his mustache, Snidely Whiplash-style".

Get a fucking grip on reality. Those men died because some evil assholes destroyed two buildings, and they bravely ran inside to try to save people's lives. Not because Giuliani killed them.

You can hate Giuliani without making shit up about him and accusing him of personally causing their deaths.

Should he have gotten them better equipment? Absolutely. Is he a piece of shit who should never, ever disgrace the office of President by occupying it? Absolutely.

Does that mean he murdered 121 (NOT 343, as nonphixion claims) firefighters? Absolutely not.

negligence != murder

the victim of 9/11 rightly blame the Bush to Reagan administrations, the CIA, FBI, etc etc

Are they wrong to do so, are they morons who can't comprehend that everyone was without fault except the terrorists?

Yes. You don't put society in prison because there were societal factors that contributed to the actions of Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson, do you?

Things that may have contributed != fault. The only guilt for 9/11 lies with the psychopaths who planned and carried it out.

I'm sorry you think so low of the 9/11 families and their fight to find the truth of why 9/11 happened...they should have kept their mouths shut and went "oh its just because some crazy brown people got plane tickets!"
